Another Possibilities Playground. Another poem.

Climbing the Mountain to Higher Ground

I was on the ledge
I saw the long fall
I can climb up the mountain
Or choose to go down

The higher I climb
The more ground I gain
But if I stumble
Back down I go

Sometimes the path leads me
Where I have to go down
But if I look closely
I can always find a higher route

I can climb up the mountain
Or choose to go down
Whatever choice I make
Will lead me where I go

I can go where I want to
It is always my choice
To go higher up
Or to go back down

The mountain has many
Possible paths
That I can get so wound up
Around the sides of the hill

That I go around in circles
Not going up or down
Not up the mountain
Not down it, not anywhere new at all

It is always my choice
To go up or go down
When I see the path before me
I make the choices I choose

I go up when I see the way
I only go down for brief moments
I rise higher and higher
And I gain new ground

I climb ever nearer the mount of the hill
The top of the mountain, the summit if you will

I see new things before me, there are shapes in the sky
Clouds of birthing new formations of newness in my life

I see the sun shining brightly, the light is so strong
That I am overcome with the feeling of God in my heart

I know the light loves me, the universe, too
I am always watched over, cared for, and loved

The love of God, the light at the top of the mountain
Pours down on me and cleanses all my worries away

I feel God’s love, I know it deeply
For God has always loved me
Forever in fact

There is a light at the top of the mountain
Keep climbing higher so you can see it
It will pour into your heart and make you believe
The love of God, the Universe, and All That Is

It is waiting for you on higher ground
Climb to the top of your mountain
Choose the paths that lead you there
Climb higher and higher

See you there

Ask Leading Questions, Get What You Asked For

PP#07:

Leading Questions

Are you ready?

Are you excited?

Are you nervous?

Are you sure?

Ask for an emotion and you may elicit it.

What does that mean?

Ask what you are looking for, and the one answering may confirm.

What does that mean?

If you ask for your answer, you may well get it.

Get What You Asked For

What do I mean?

Are you ready? Yes, I am ready.

Are you excited? Yes, I am excited.

Are you nervous? Now that you mention it, a little.

Are you sure? Well, no, now I’m not so sure…

Ask a leading question and you may well get the answer as you wish to perceive it.

It may be the one answering will confirm your expectations because you asked it so.

What else might you ask in order to receive the answer you are wishing to hear?

All for now.

New Possibilities, New Plans, New Investments

Word Art Possibilities Playground glowing yellow letters over rainbow background. Subtitle Monday Theme: New Ideas. Fun with words. Kid friendly.
PP#06:

New Possibilities

Today I was guided to take a pause on the story of the little gnome.

For a bit. Fawley Wessar and his thick glasses will be back. And his inventions.

Actually, I feel this week may be a recalibration of my blog in general. Bear with me. In the meantime…

Just stirring the air a bit.

Taking a breath of newness.

Feeling out the bumpers.

Becoming part of the machine.

The machine being my life, the bumpers the joy ride, and the breathness and newness and stirring and remixing of it all. The having fun with it.

See, what I am trying to get at is… well… new ideas.

To have a new idea means being on the leading edge of thought. Being in the vicinity of newness, of something that hasn’t been thought before. At least not in that exact way under those exact circumstances for those exact reasons.

Every idea is an expansion on those before it. And leads to those yet to come.

I have been a on a hunt lately. One that my inner being set me on. I actually don’t remember why now. Why I was called to the 30 Day Blog Challenge.

Think I simply saw it and I chose to do it and did it… And still I keep going with it.

New Plans

So I keep following. Following the guide posts pointing me on. To more lessons and online classes and tips and tutorials about blogging and YouTubing and doing new things. Things I have never done before, things I was barely tuned into or aware of until now.

Like trying to build an online business and community out of who I am and what I love.

Creative new things that I can enjoy being creative in, share my passions, and actually may turn out to be very lucrative. To make a living following my passions. That is how God and my inner being would want it.

So, I will attempt something suggested by one of these lessons now. I am making it a part of my post tonight. For fun and all.

Possible YouTube Channel Content

Spirituality
Healing
Creative writing
Music
Meditation
Reiki
Food
Beer
Qi Gong
Muay Thai
Video Games
Movies
Trails/parks
Learning new things
Fun stuff

There, that’s it. And I’m supposed to grade it to see my top choices.

Now you know some of the possibilities for my YouTube channels to come. Most of these won’t make the cut. But I have a feeling I already know which ones will prevail… You’ll have to wait and find out.

At least now you know some of my hobbies and passions.

New Investments

So my guides lead me on. They point me this way and that. And sometimes I want to get in the way. But they say, don’t worry. And I try not to worry.

Then I remember how much is being gifted my way. New knowledge and awareness, expanding my consciousness on what is possible for me in this life.

I know I will not do any one thing exactly like those who are teaching me, those who are successful in the online business world. I know I will be unique and that I must take the best of their lessons and use my discernment for the rest.

And I know that by investing in new knowledge, knew ideas, and knew thoughts and beliefs about what is possible, that I will continue to expand in my ability to do all that I want to.

That is the heart of an investment, we might say. To be in receipt of all that you asked for in the beginning. To put out something that then returns to you in infinite quantities. That is how energy works. That is how the cosmos was formed. That is how it is all put together. Infinite energies pooling together from one creative source into what we see as All That Is. Return on investment. Output of energy in creative vibration returned to you in your physical reality as manifestation. That is the law of attraction. Creativity by its nature draws more stuff. Creation, the created. The Creator, all of us.

To invest in the energy of infinity yields an infinite return.

Surrender. Yield. Allow. Be easy.

Blessings to you all,

The Gnome’s First Attempt at a New Invention

Word Art Possibilities Playground glowing yellow letters over rainbow background
PP#05:

The Gnome’s First Attempt at a New Invention

The gnome, gnome, old
Fawley Wessar
Built a new one
Quite a tester

A new invention
Crafting ably
Hoping he that
It work stably

He spun the gear
And pressed quickly
Buttons poofing
Fog came thickly

Wiped his glasses
Twitched his noses
Wondering why
It wasn’t roses

This thing should work
He told himself
Or I’ll put it
Up on a shelf

The gnome, gnome, from
Gunkapaloo
Carried a box
Shaped like a shoe

A gnome shoe, true
What would you do?
If you, too saw
A gnomish shoe?

Gnomes are plenty
And quite handy
At building stuff
Stuff that’s handy

A handy gnome
Better suited
To invention
Horns a’ tootin’

Worked all day and
Never quitting
Grew so tired
Time for splitting

The gnome, old gnome
To home at last
Dinner in bed
Unembarrassed

The gnome, old gnome
In gnomish style
Fell fast asleep
With wink and smile

The Gnome Went for a Walk

Word Art Possibilities Playground glowing yellow letters over rainbow background
PP#04:

The Gnome Went for a Walk

The little gnome
Got up and stretched
Grabbed his glasses
And fetched

A little pail
A walking stick
A curled up rope
And brick

He left his house
Went up the hill
Into the woods
Until

He found a lake
Dropped all his gear
Sat on the ground
With cheer

He tied the rope
Onto the pail
Then to the stick
With nail

Into the pail
Hung by the rope
He placed the brick
With hope

Cast in the lake
The pail with brick
Hung by the rope
And stick

It filled with water
And cracked the stick
Sunk pail and brick
And quick

The little gnome
Laughed off his test
He went back home
To rest

And plan the things
He’d need for his
New invention
Which is

A special tool
For those who need
A special way
To feed

The little fish
That live below
The little lake
And grow

Into flowers
That rise above
The little lake
With love

The flower fish
Liked living low
Deep in the lake
Although

They liked it more
When up they rise
To the surface
And skies

To see the sun
And feel the breeze
Show their faces
With ease

The little gnome
Loved flower fish
He smelled them with
A wish

To always see
Their bright petals
Into calm he
Settles

The little gnome
Who had a quest
To find a way
To rest

The Poem About the Gnome Who Wanted to Travel the World

Word Art Possibilities Playground glowing yellow letters over rainbow background
PP#03:

The Gnome Who Wanted to Travel the World

There was a little gnome from Gunkapaloo
Who wanted to travel the whole world at noon
He tinkered and toiled his home-made how-to
Built his own double trouble bubble balloon

He traveled the north across cold shining seas
Blew bubbles at troubles and giggled with glea
He lifted his nose in the warm southern breeze
And landed to sit with some goblins for tea

His world went from small to ginormously huge
And his pockets were filled with gadget refuse
He flew back towards home in a rainy deluge
With parts to make any new thing he may choose

A what’s-it, a who’s-for, a gotcha-that-do
A dozen new gnome toys for Gunkapaloo

The Beginning

Four weeks ago

I started a blog

To soothe my ego

For that I thank God

The Middle

The growth that I found

While stumbling along

Has found solid ground

And resounds in song

And the End

I know where I’ve been

I know where I’m going

I know I will win

It soon will be showing

DAY 30

Day 29 of My 30 Day Challenges

Word Art My 30 Day Blog Challenge and Self-Soothe Challenge over paper backgroundThe blog series in which I am completing my challenge from 30dayblogchallenge.com!

As well as a self-made challenge inspired by Abraham Hicks in which I self-soothe myself through negative emotion.

At the end of this 30 day journey I intend to be more fully on my life’s path, “all systems go.”

Last update before the finale, tomorrow

My 30 days is almost up. The blog challenge continues to discuss email marketing and more and more about social media networking and presence. The suggestion is to form relationships with Facebook groups, for instance, in order to begin having conversations that add value to the group. They comment that it won’t sound as salesy if you become an intrinsic member in the group discussions, and provide quality content.

My self-soothe challenge is feeling more and more successful. The freedom I am feeling from what had become such typical emotions like fear or guilt or shame or worry has been such a blessing. Such a blessing to leave all of that behind. I will not say it is a complete process. But it is a major stepping stone. I live my life in more ease and calm every day. And I plan to continue this progress.

Thank you for reading. Blessings.

DAY 23

P.S.

Day 22 of 30 Day Challenges

Word Art My 30 Day Blog Challenge and Self-Soothe Challenge over paper backgroundThe blog series in which I am completing my challenge from 30dayblogchallenge.com!

As well as a self-made challenge inspired by Abraham Hicks in which I self-soothe myself through negative emotion.

At the end of this 30 day journey I intend to be more fully on my life’s path, “all systems go.”

All Systems Getting There…

The challenges continue and my progress is, well, progressing. Need to peptalk myself back up here…

First for the 30 Day Blog Challenge. Technically I am on their Day 14… uh, never mind, it’s a long story… which you can feel free to read about in my first dozen posts…

In any case the day’s challenge was to share my blog with friends and family. Wow, another long story, but my network has, um, shifted a bit in the last year or so. I am not pressed to share in that way at the moment.

Yet I am trusting that a new community will build around the writings in this blog. And that is what I am allowing myself to accept. That God will bring the readership here as needed. I have no doubt the interest this page will draw.

Don’t get me wrong, when it’s time to go haywire public with this thing, I will. We will all know when the time is right for that and there will be no stopping me or this blog. It will be known.

…and Getting There…

As to the twenty-second day of my 30 Day Self-Soothe Challenge, and as many days consecutively writing this blog, uh…

It has its up days and its down days, this challenge thing. I suppose the sentiment today was this: my emotions were getting low thinking about my money situation, or the lack I currently feel. That was making me doubt my ability to follow my passion, which is the writing. The two are intertwined.

It’s like I do and I don’t want to count on writing as a potential source of income. I do because that’d be awesome. I don’t because it can be scary to rest all my laurels on some unknown source of income through a means that most people would try to talk me out of.

So I have to keep talking myself back in.

See the thing is this, two things are possible here. The writing may very well make money, even be quite lucrative. Or I may keep writing and never see any money for it. Either of these scenarios could happen at this stage in the game. It’s all so new.

So self-soothe… ok…

keep on picking myself up… it’s ok… all in progress… brush off the dust… things will be alright… first, the work… keep on writing…

Now as I just wrote this I worked something out: my very fear about my writing providing a life for me could be a clue that it will.

I mean, it feels like the opposite end of the hope that writing truly can provide for my life. How could I feel so intensely about it if it were not important?

Maybe my life of knowing that I am a writer is for a reason: that I am meant to write. If I am meant to write, then God had better provide a way for me to do so. And that takes money. So I can keep writing and do what I am here to do. Money, God.

Thank you, God, for that clarity.

Ok, I hope you followed that one. A money and abundance self-soothe from low vibrations to higher ones. Got to get there one step at a time. Just like the toddler learning to walk.

Thank you for reading. Blessings to you.

Welcome to Possibilities Playground, Where the Magic is Real

Word Art Possibilities Playground glowing yellow letters over rainbow background
PP#00:

Possibilities Playground

Welcome. Just beginning to flow the energies. I sincerely thank any present at this juncture, as this blog is still in a seeding stage.

Monday’s weekly blog theme is to open the door to possibilities and to be playful about it. This will tap into the inner child, the inner toddler in me. And perhaps in you. And perhaps your child as well.

So I want the Monday posts to be easy and fun. They will likely be of a shorter nature, just for a quick Monday check-in, maybe a quick read to a young one.

That’s actually about it, today. Expect more fun to come on Mondays.

Self-Soothe Update

I was done but was inspired to update my progress on my self-soothe challenge. I feel I have neglected it for a couple days.

Although the last couple blog posts have in their own ways have been my means of self-soothing. They eased my mind around the idea of beginning to blog, helping to pave the way forward for me, one step at a time, like the toddler learning to walk.

But today I did have to self-soothe in a more direct way. Why? Wasn’t work, I had the day off for Easter. Wasn’t my kids. I had a blast with them today for the holiday. I didn’t even get frustrated with them.

What was it? Well, that’s actually quite a long story. Suffice it to say that it was the overarching energy I was sorting through. Cutting the crap, letting go of baggage, cutting some chords, taking my power back. That sort of stuff. Hard to explain fully unless you could live through it yourself, you know?

The Soothe

Well, my favorite thing that happened was coming home to my amazing girlfriend who reminded me to clear my energy and take on God’s loving protection from the toxic forces assaulting my being.

I began to sage myself with a smudge stick and grabbed a couple of my healing crystals. As I worked with them I called upon the light and Metatron’s cube (new to me tonight) and I called a thousand angels. I called upon all these energies to heal and protect me.

It worked wonders. And I was led instantly to the inspiration to sit down and create the art for Monday’s theme, “Possibilities Playground.” You saw it on the share you may have received, and definitely at the top of this post.

The clearing and art helped soothe me. Also there was the writing of this post. I felt more present with God and more centered with my inner being.

Actually the experience was so strong I did a victory affirmation. I patted myself on the back, cheered myself on, and punched my fists through the air as in victory. It felt great and my inner being agreed. The energy soared.

Then I rehearsed what felt like the best version of one of my favorite songs to sing. It is the first song on my album. The song is aligned to Monday’s theme. The song is called “Magic Is Real” and claims repeatedly:

“Open the door to possibilities”

How fitting.

Thank you for taking a moment to read this post. Please comment if you have ever self-soothed yourself or cheered yourself on to feel better.

And don’t forget to share if you think this post could be useful to someone you know.

Until next time.

Blessings to you all,

Matthew

DAY 16

Day 15 of 30 Day Blog and Self-Soothe Challenges

Word Art My 30 Day Blog Challenge and Self-Soothe Challenge over paper backgroundThe blog series in which I am completing my challenge from 30dayblogchallenge.com!

As well as a self-made challenge inspired by Abraham Hicks in which I self-soothe myself through negative emotion.

At the end of this 30 day journey I intend to be more fully on my life’s path, “all systems go.”

Beginning to Create

Today’s challenge from 30dayblogchallenge was two-fold:

  1. Try not to engage in fraud in crafting your blog. In other words don’t base it on another blog’s style or success
  2. Feel free to claim mastery over whatever level of knowledge you may have on a subject. Mainly just keep writing.

My answer:

  1. I will not ever attempt to be other than what I am in my blogging pursuits. I will only be myself and offer my best.
  2. There is no competition for mastery here for me. This blog is about new creation in writing, not writing on the observations of the what-is-ness that is already out there in blogging.

So I will begin to create. Starting with Monday’s weekly theme: Possibilities Playground. See post above.

Thank you. Blessings.
