You are the light, my dear
Shine unto the world
A light that turns away all fear
Brilliance, truth unfurled

It covers all your being
In white and blue and gold
It opens eyes to seeing
The dreams that you can hold

Your light reflects to all around
Your family, friends and neighbors
It flies more sure than any sound
And gives itself as favors

Of joy and love and beauty
Of infinite devotion
While it’s not so much a duty
It’s an intoxicating potion

To give yourself as all you are
