To deny God, in a sense, is still to have a relationship with God. Since God is and since God is all things, whether or not you recognize it, it is still there.

If your mind were a home, then I would really imagine it as a mansion. Not in the sense of it being luxurious and expensive, but simply in how large and vast it is, how many rooms it contains. Your mind contains a room for everything you have experienced in life, everything you have learned, all the relationships you’ve had, all the skills and interests you’ve put attention to. And the more time you build each room, the bigger it can become, the longer lived it can be, and the more attention it can get.
