If you are living a challenging life: always struggling, never at peace, seeming to find conflict at every turn, dealing with painful emotions… would you say that you are living in the light or in the dark? I’m sure that the answer is clear (not in the “clear as day” sort of clear, but rather in the “answer is obvious” sort of way).

It was pitch black. Purity couldn’t see even an inch in front of her. She was overcome with fear. What if there were something in here? Where if there was some other spider monster, or worse? These thoughts did not console her. But the sound of thunderous booming outside reminded her why she’d ducked into this cave. At least she’d stand a chance in hiding. Outside had seemed a sure end.

It’s the End Times As We Know It

What happens without time? If you were to ask most scientists today they would probably tell you nothing. I mean that they would literally say that nothing happens without time. Without time, you cannot have motion through space, right? Without time, we would all be a snapshot frozen in place.

Picture a projector running a film. This projector is in your mind. The film is your past. What do you see. We all have this projector. We call it memory. We believe it serves us well, and in many ways it does. We remember how to tie our shoes, so we can easily perform that task again and again.

Todd scoops up the super ball once last time and hurls it aimlessly over his shoulder. This time it smacks right into a lamp across the room which knocks over. The lightbulb shatters in a crashing sound.
HOLLY: “Todd Albert Helsing! Now look what you’ve done! Just brush your teeth and go straight to bed, young man. I’ve got to clean up this mess. Margaret, don’t go over there. There’s broken glass all over the place.”

I Am a Defenseless Son of God

Why would I claim to be a defenseless son of God? Who, in fact, would want to be defenseless? Perhaps one who knew that they did not need defense. How’s that? Well, think about it. If there were nothing that could hurt you, then what would you need defense for?
