On the Possible Nature of Receiving…
Think about it: someone tells you that they are intuitive, psychic, or the like, and you are offered the opportunity to learn about your future. Do you take them up on it, ask questions, expecting the life altering answers? Or do you shy away from even inquiring on the nature of your future?
Or have you tried it and been convinced that the psychic got some things wrong? The events didn’t happen the way they were expected to, or they never happened at all. What could be the cause of this reaction to psychic readings?
The Prediction Is Your Now
A future prediction by a psychic person or phenomenon is only the reflection of your own internal psychic world. Your energy right now is what the psychic is reading from you, not the future.
There is no one future. There are infinite possible futures at all times. The one that the psychic seems, so accurately, to be tuning into at the time of a reading is simply the one most prevalent in your own energy field, in the moment of the reading.
You Can Seek Within as Without
You could simply tune into it yourself, if you try.
Actually, you know it already, because it’s what is on your mind. Even if it’s on the back of your mind, you know it to be in there, affecting how you think and how you view the world around you.
Your expectations are set up by your overruling thoughts, whether of fear, worry, doubt, anger, jealousy, hate… or peace, harmony, abundance, love, joy, and freedom, among infinite others nuanced states.
The trouble is, for most of us psychically reading ourselves is too hard because we are attached to the outcome. We are too clouded by the familiarity of our own energy field, our own thought systems, our own beliefs, and our own perspective on the events of our lives to see it clearly. We just accept it as is, for who we are, how we live, how we operate and think.
The external psychic offers us the space to see our energy field and thought system from afar, from the outside looking in. Therefore, they can show us a reflection of what is going on with us and the future that we may create based on our present energy.
No Future Is the Absolute Future
That does not make it the absolute truth of the real future you will see. Far from it. There are infinite possible futures. You create them each and every moment, and take steps down certain futures that beckon you most.
Even your point of view after a psychic reading will have a different perspective: one of awareness and of expectations. You get to make new choices from that point of view.
You of course may align perfectly to the predicted future and see it truly come about. And you will say the psychic is great with predictions and that it all was as foretold.
Or you might begin to prejudge the future in some way and therefore act other than our norm, and that also might change it altogether. Then you will likely curse and say that your psychic’s predictions were wrong and that they were no good.
…a Psychic Reading
Psychic readings of your future are but reflections of where you are now in the present. They are really reading your present.
I found this to be true in reading Tarot cards, myself. The cards were always showing me things that made me say: “Ah, yes, of course. I knew that. That is what’s already happening in my life. I see it now in the cards.”
My wife and I have both experienced readings that never came to pass. But we would not point fingers and blame the psychic for being bad at their job. Maybe they performed it perfectly, and we heard what you needed to hear, therefore guiding us to forge a different path, a better course.
The future’s created today
Molded in our own clay
Temper only forms that solely
