ESMERELDA I cannot take any more of this. This is ludicrous. What makes this girl think that the humans will ever accept us into their world? Clearly she has not learned enough in her history class. ESDA (defensively) I do know my history! I know what they did… But that was so long ago. Maybe they’ve changed…

Todd scoops up the super ball once last time and hurls it aimlessly over his shoulder. This time it smacks right into a lamp across the room which knocks over. The lightbulb shatters in a crashing sound.
HOLLY: “Todd Albert Helsing! Now look what you’ve done! Just brush your teeth and go straight to bed, young man. I’ve got to clean up this mess. Margaret, don’t go over there. There’s broken glass all over the place.”

Hey Skeleton Joe. Need a hand?

Where did the Cacklers get the time to pack all of this when they were running from the school?

Warren follows Jawtooth towards the back of the tented structure. There is a small fire and some benches. On one of the benches, Jawtooth grabs a pouch.

The soothsayer takes the pouch, shakes it in his hand over his shoulder, and simply deposits its contents on the ground in front of the fire. The fire crackles and brightens momentarily.

Jawtooth gazes at some small bones and scraps of hard material carved into strange runes.

Warlock Warren leans in with curiosity.

It was those awful soldiers! The light warriors. They wore shiny, white suits of armor and shining white swords. Scared me and my girls right out of our stockings. They started melting the whole school with their bright light! We picked up our broomsticks and made our escape. There were too many of them. Woe is me!
